COOPERS BREWERY

Coopers Brewery has a long rich history, which spans from its’ origins in South Australia in 1862, to the present day. Coopers Brewery is in the hands of those who have the same values as Thomas Cooper and believe in the product that Thomas himself began brewing all those years ago.

Dr Tim Cooper is a fifth generation Cooper, with the unusual combination of qualifications in brewing and medicine. Tim was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2008 Queen’s Honours for service to the brewing industry, particularly through environmentally sustainable production and manufacturing practices, to professional organisations, and to the community.

Glenn is a fifth generation Cooper. In July 1990, Glenn joined the family brewery and today is Chairman and also holds the position of Marketing Director. He has overseen the launch of numerous products in the Coopers beer range, including; Coopers Mild Ale, Coopers Dark Ale, Coopers Extra Strong Vintage Ale and Coopers Lager.
